During an inspection looking at part of the service
All checks to ensure staff were of good character and had the qualifications; skills and experience necessary for their area of work were in place.

We phoned the practice to give two working days' notice of our visit. We spoke with six people who used the service either in the waiting room or by obtaining information through e mail. We toured the premises, spoke with four staff, and the practice manager. We looked at documents relating to the running of the practice.
People told us they were 'very satisfied' with the service. People said they had been very nervous when they first visited the practice but that staff had been 'very polite and helpful.'
The surgeries were very well equipped and the practice clean and welcoming. We did have some concerns with the processes used for the cleaning of instruments that were not in accordance with the guidelines.
We found the staff to be very welcoming and efficient in their role although not all of the employment checks required by the care quality commission had been completed.
