During an assessment under our new approach

We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 20 April 2026.

We found the practice had met regulations.

The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.

Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.

Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

 

Dr Afshin Memaripour and Mr Nader Mohagheghzadeh Davani Stanwell Dental Practice is in Surrey and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces available.

The practice had 4 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 19 staff, of which there were 6 dentists, 8 dental nurses, 1 trainee dental nurse, 2 dental hygienists and 2 receptionists. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 4 dentists, 2 dental nurses and 2 receptionists.

During a routine inspection

During our inspection we spoke with five patients who were visiting the practice that day. We spoke with six staff including dental nurses and dentists. We also reviewed patient records and other documentation.

Each patient said they felt well informed about their treatment and were always advised of the individual options available to them. Each patient confirmed that they were treated with dignity and respect. For example, one patient told us 'Staff are always courteous and respect you. '

Another patient told us that the dental practice was particularly good because the dentists 'Explain everything so you know what to expect.'

During our visit we saw that the treatment rooms were clean and hygienic and patients told us the surgery always appeared clean.

Staff told us that they felt well supported and we saw that they received regular training and appraisals to support them in their respective roles.

Patients expressed satisfaction with the quality of the service. We were told that the dental staff at Stanwell were 'Fantastic' and 'Brilliant' particularly if people were nervous.
