All Inspections

During an assessment under our new approach

We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 16 September 2025.

We found the practice had met regulations.

The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.

Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.

Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

Acre Medical Services is in the London Borough of Ealing and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, near the practice.

The practice had 4 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 17 staff, of which there were 6 dentists (1 of which has special interests in orthodontics and implants), 6 dental nurses, 1 dental hygienist, 2 receptionists, the practice manager and the practice owner. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 2 dentists, 1 dental nurse, the dental hygienist, 1 receptionist, the practice manager and the practice owner.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people using the service and five members of staff. People told us they were satisfied with the care and treatment they received at the service. They told us that clear explanations about their treatment and associated costs were provided. One person commented 'he's a really good dentist, one of the best I have ever seen'. Another person said staff were 'nice, polite, not rude'.

People told us they found the practice clean and hygienic. The practice had in place effective systems to manage the risk of infection.

Complaint information was available for people to use if they wanted to raise any concerns.
