During a routine inspection
We found the provider had refurbished the ground floor of the practice; this has made the waiting area and the surgery more pleasant and improved the experiences for people using the service.
The service had effective systems in place to maintain the environment and the equipment to safe standards. All areas of the surgery including the waiting and treatment areas were clean and hygienic, infection control and decontamination procedures were robust.
People using the service told us they were satisfied with the care and treatment they received, and how this was provided. Three of the people attending the surgery said they had been attending the practice for several years; they liked the friendly atmosphere and helpful staff at the practice.
A person receiving treatment told of their confidence in this dental practice, they said, "The principal dentist has provided dental care to me and my family, we like the approach of the dentist and value their experience and skills, we feel we are in safe hands."
