During a routine inspection
Staff we spoke with were able to identify different forms of abuse and knew who to contact if they had concerns. This meant that people could be assured that staff were aware of safeguarding procedures to protect children and vulnerable adults.
The service had systems in place to monitor the quality of the service. People were asked for their feedback and comments made analysed which influenced plans for service improvements.
We saw from observation and a review of records that the Department of Health infection control procedures had been followed to maintain the safety of people who used the service.
