At that inspection visit we found that people were at risk because some of the emergency medicines were past their expiry dates. Also, there were no systems in place to monitor that these medicines were in date and fit for use.

We followed up on this area of non compliance by requesting information from the dental practice to demonstrate that action had been taken to address these issues. We were provided with written confirmation that told us that the provider had achieved compliance in this area.

The people we spoke with were satisfied with the service they received. They told us, "I'm very satisfied here" and "I would recommend the surgery to others."

People told us that they very rarely had to wait past their appointment time, but they would be informed if this was likely to happen.

People told us that they were satisfied with the cleanliness and hygiene of the surgery. One person commented "It's always spotlessly clean."

We found that improvements were necessary in the management of emergency medicines.
