During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people who used the service to get their views on the support and treatment they received. We spoke with staff about the services they provided and the training they had received. We looked at people's records and the quality assurance processes.

People we spoke with said they were given information about the service and told about the types of treatment and therapy that was on offer. They told us that they were treated with respect by staff and that staff understood their needs. We were told, 'They are very understanding' and 'Really easy to talk to'.

People we spoke with said that they had to wait a long time before their therapy started. One person said, 'I had the assessment really quickly but then I had to go on a waiting list and I nearly gave up. I knew I would have to wait but it took forever and quite honestly I needed the help beforehand'. Another person said, 'I was on the waiting list a long time before I saw anyone'.

Everyone we spoke with however told us that they had benefited from the therapy and support they received from the agency. They said, 'They gave me exactly what I needed' and 'They were really brilliant'.
