All Inspections

31 July 2013

During a routine inspection

We spoke with four people who had used the service. Generally they were pleased with the treatments they had received. One person told us they were, "happy with the treatment' and another that they were, 'completely comfortable with (name of therapist)'. One person said, about the questionnaires that were used to measure progress, that they, 'take up time that could be better spent'.

We saw that people who used the service had signed consent forms and records were clearly presented.

People were pleased with the treatment and care they received from individual therapists. All the people we spoke with felt that the treatment had helped them to some degree.

We saw that there was systematic co-operation with other providers of care in the area but that some of the boundaries between the mental health services were unclear.

There were sufficient staff of the right level of skills to cater for the demands on the service.

The provider had effective systems in place to monitor the quality of the service provided.

7 November 2012

During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people who used the service and four employees of the service.

People who used the service were pleased with the quality of the care they received. They felt very well supported by both their key worker and by groups they attended.

They felt the relationship with their key worker was productive though some were more effective than others. Key workers treated them with dignity. Comments included, 'I can tell them everything honestly ' they have never judged me' and 'I was very dubious at first but then the trust came'.

People said that the care planning was current, 'my plan is work in progress' and 'we (key worker and person) do discuss things but it is my choice' were amongst comments we recorded.

People said the service took safeguarding seriously. They felt safe with the service. They said that where there where children involved there had been planning for the child's safety.
