During a routine inspection

We were able to speak to one person using the service. They told us they were always treated with respect and their private medical information never talked about in public. They told us they always received a text message reminding them when their next appointment was. They said each time they visited the dentist they were asked if there had been any changes to their medical history. They said the different treatment options were always explained to them as well as the cost. They told us 'they put me at ease.' They also said they knew the staff well and would have no hesitation in making a complaint if they were unhappy.

We gathered other evidence of people's experiences of the service by reviewing feedback from questionnaires the National Health Service Business Services Authority collected every four months. (The National Health Service Business Authority was a special health authority of the National Health Service. It was an arm's length body providing advice to the government and had responsibility for dentists). We found people were satisfied with the care and treatments they received.
