During an assessment under our new approach
We carried out an assessment of Quality + Care Solutions Limited between 1 to 22 July 2026.We received telephone feedback from people and relatives on 4 February 2026, and further feedback via email.This was the first assessment since the service was registered.Quality + Care Solutions Limited provides personal care to people living in their own homes, including adults and children.
We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgments about whether the provider guaranteed autistic people and people with a learning disability respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. At the time of the assessment, the service was not supporting any autistic adults or adults with a learning disability, but the provider had regard to ‘Right support, right care, right culture’.
The provider had systems to log and investigate incidents and safeguarding concerns. These were used as an opportunity to identify learning to help keep people safe.Staff understood the whistle blowing policy and were confident to raise concerns if needed.
The provider ensured sufficient staff were available to meet people’s needs in a timely way. New staff were recruited safely.
Care plans, risk assessments and daily records supported safe care, promoted independence and demonstrated ongoing monitoring of changing needs. Medicines and safeguarding arrangements were managed safely.
Feedback from staff and partners was overwhelmingly positive. Staff described a supportive management team, good training opportunities and a culture where concerns could be raised.A staff member said,“I feel well supported. The management team is approachable and available if I need advice or assistance.”
The provider had a structured approach to quality assurance which had been effective in identifying areas for improvement and learning. The business continuity plan needed updating,which the provider agreed to do straightaway.
