This is the first assessment for CHEC - Kings Norton. This key question has been rated Good. We looked for evidence that people and communities had the best possible outcomes because their needs were assessed. We checked that people’s care, support and treatment reflected these needs and any protected equality characteristics, ensuring people were at the centre of their care. When the unit was busy, leaders reviewed staffing levels to meet the needs of their patients. Staff delivered good care and treatment following evidence-based practice and people had good outcomes. The service monitored care outcomes and sought to improve, even when meeting national benchmarks.
