During a routine inspection

We found the practice had a good system for gaining consent to treatment. One person who had used the service told us the dentist was very clear in their explanation of what treatment they needed. They told us they felt confident to ask questions of the dentist or the dental nurses as they were all approachable and would give further explanation if required.

The practice had treatment plans and kept up to date medical information about people who used the service. The practice was clean and there were decontamination procedures in place. The staff were appropriately supported to carry out their roles and there was a complaints process in place.
