The inspection took place on the 12 May 2026. Avo Care is a domiciliary care service providing a regulated activity of personal care. The service was providing care and support to people in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of this inspection, there was 1 person using the service. This was the first assessment for the service since their registration; therefore we included all the quality statements under each of the five key questions within this inspection. People received their medicines as prescribed and risks to their health and wellbeing had been assessed. Safeguarding procedures were in place. The service learned from accidents, incidents and events. People had access to health and social care professionals to ensure healthcare needs were met. People were involved in their care and records were person centred. People’s rights were fully respected, and consent was sought from people. Staff were kind and caring, taking into consideration people’s individuality.
