During a routine inspection
Care records showed that treatment had been recorded at each appointment that people had attended.
Safeguarding arrangements were weak. Not all staff had received training for safeguarding children and no staff had received training for safeguarding vulnerable adults. The safeguarding policy for children did not refer to which guidelines the provider was following and there was not a safeguarding policy for vulnerable adults.
We found that relevant Department of Health infection control guidelines had been adhered to which meant that people were safe from the risks of cross infection.
The premises were worn and tired looking and were in need of redecoration and some refurbishment.
The fire safety arrangements had been maintained and managed to a safe working order.
