Wildflower Home Care Ltd is a domiciliary care provider supporting people with personal care in their own homes. This included people living with dementia and people with physical or health conditions. At the time of this inspection, the service was providing the regulated activity of personal care to 4 people.

The service was extremely well managed by a very competent and very able registered manager who put people at the centre of the service and had a clear vision of where they wished to take the service in the future.

The registered manager ensured that people’s care was exceptionally person-centred. Care was highly personalised and reflected each person’s individual needs. This approach resulted in positive experiences, with people expressing a high level of satisfaction and wellbeing from the service they received.

Staff demonstrated consistently kind, caring and compassionate care towards people, thinking of little ways to improve people’s experience and make them feel special.

The registered manager assessed people’s needs prior to a care package commencing and matched staff to ensure people felt at ease from the start of their care visits happening. Staff teams were consistent which helped staff get to know people quickly and care plans were comprehensive to ensure staff provided care in line with their needs.

The registered manager worked extremely closely with the local community, assisting with support groups and promoting joint working.

The registered manager recruited staff through a robust process and supported them thereafter through induction, training and supervision. Staff had the opportunity to meet regularly and contribute to the running of the service.’

Good governance arrangements were in place, and the service was consistently checked for its quality through audits and analyses.

Staff told us they knew how to recognise signs of potential abuse, understood the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and its principles and would feel comfortable speaking up should they have any concerns.

People's experience of the service

Updated 25 February 2026

People and their family members, without exception, told us how happy they were that they had discovered Wildflower Home Care. They told us it had made a difference to them and people’s wellbeing had improved as a result. Through collaboration with local providers the service offered exceptionally person-centred care, focussing on the person. This had resulted in meaningful experiences. Local professionals and providers had consistently good relationships with the service and through their work together they were able to offer complementary care and support to people which met their specific needs. This included in relation to their health. People and their family members sang the praises of the care staff and said they adapted the care to suit the person. They said, the person came first and they were in charge of their care with staff supporting them in the background to remain able to make their own choices and retain their independence. People were given opportunities to socialise with others outside of their home or rekindle their hobbies and interests through staff’s commitment to providing them with good care. People were supported at all times with accessing healthcare professional input, maintaining a good level of health and wellbeing and being given the opportunity to give their feedback on the care they received. People told us staff arrived when they were expecting them and stayed the full amount of time. They said they saw a consistent staff team which had helped them get to know staff. People and their relatives felt there was nothing that could improve with the service which would improve the care they already received.
