During a routine inspection

During our visit, five patients gave us information about what they thought of the dental services they received at this dental practice. Patients told us that care and treatment was either 'Excellent' or 'Very good'. Patients said that treatment and dental procedures were explained to them and they signed consents forms agreeing to the prescribed treatment plans. Patients told us they thought the dental surgeries were clean and that staff wore protective clothing and equipment. One patient said they thought that both dentists and nurses were 'Very professional' and another patient said that staff were 'Helpful and kind'

We saw that the dental practice used 'patient questionnaires' to ask patients for their feedback and views about the dental services they received. We saw a file of the completed questionnaires and comments included 'Just keep doing what you do. This is a 1st class dentist' and 'The standards are so high I can't think of any improvements'.
