Our view of the service
Date of assessment: 2 September to 21 September 2025. The service is a care at home service, registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide personal care to people living in their own homes. At the time of assessment, the service was providing support for 5 people who received the regulated activity of personal care. This was the first assessment of the service.
The managers and staff worked effectively together to deliver high quality, person-centred care to people. People were actively involved in planning and reviewing their care. Records were accurate and reflective of people’s needs and risks. Leadership and oversight of the service was effective. The provider sought feedback, learned lessons and made service improvements. Managers supported staff development and wellbeing. The culture of the service was open, honest and inclusive where everyone’s voice mattered and was heard.
People's experience of this service
People and relatives consistently gave positive feedback regarding their experience of the service. They spoke highly of the managers, staff team and quality of care they received. They felt involved in their care and were confident to speak up and raise any concerns. People and relatives told us about the kindness of staff and their commitment to caring for them in the way they wanted. They frequently told us about staff going the extra mile to meet their needs. People were included, valued and respected.
