During a routine inspection

At the time of our visit the surgery was very busy and the opportunity did not arise where we could speak with people using the service. We did however have the opportunity to view a number of returned patient questionnaires that had recently been completed. All comments were extremely complimentary with positive comments about treatments received and the staff working at the practice.

Comments included: 'Very professional at all times', 'I have been a patient for years and had no problems ' a brilliant practice'.

We found that Millbrook Dental Centre had suitable systems in place for obtaining and acting in accordance with, the consent of people who used the service. People experienced safe, effective and appropriate care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights.

Equipment was properly maintained and suitable for its purpose.

Records seen and staff spoken with, confirmed that all staff received appropriate support, training and supervision to enable them to carry out their job roles effectively.

We saw that there were effective systems in place for monitoring service delivery.
