We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 27 April 2026.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
The practice is in Stone, Staffordshire and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
The practice provided treatment from 3 separate buildings which were step-free and had car parking spaces available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, near the practice.
The practice had 14 treatment rooms over the 3 buildings. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 72 staff, of which there were 22 dentists, 1 orthodontist, 1 oral surgeon, 1 clinical dental technician, 1 anaesthetist, 24 qualified dental nurses, 3 trainee dental nurses, 4 dental therapists, 1 dental hygienist, 1 orthodontic therapist, 7 receptionists, 2 treatment co-ordinators, 1 practice manager, 1 operations manager, 1 managing director and a cleaner. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection.
