We reviewed this information and are satisfied the provider has strengthened their recruitment systems to protect people who use the service.
We found that people's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. One person said, 'The dentist always asks me about changes to my medical condition.'
We found there were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. People said, 'The practice was very clean and tidy'. People said they were aware of how to make a complaint. However, they have never had the need to make one. Comments and complaints people made were responded to appropriately. We found that the service's recruitment procedure was not rigorous. Staff were employed without the appropriate checks undertaken.
