During a routine inspection
People that used the practice were very pleased with the treatment they received. They felt they received good treatment and that the staff took account of their individual needs. General health and oral care advice was provided as part of the consultation. Comments included, "It's friendly and they make you feel very comfortable". "It's the best [dentist] I've ever been to".
People told us they were included in discussions about their treatment and had their treatment options explained. People felt they were treated with respect and their views listened to. People were provided with a plan of care and the costs of treatment were fully explained.
People told us that the practice was clean and tidy and that they had no concerns over the hygiene practices during treatment. The practice had systems in place to prevent and control the spread of infections.
Staff were trained and supported to provide care and treatment to people. We saw evidence of staff training and of staff support and supervision.
A range of audits were in place to monitor and to improve the quality of the service. This made sure that people received appropriate care. People that used the service had the opportunity to express their views about the service through regular surveys.
