Updated 27 April 2026
Dates of assessment were from 24 April to 28 May 2026. The service is a domiciliary care service providing personal care for people. This is the first assessment for this newly registered service.
The service was only being provided to 1 person at the time of the assessment. Systems and processes were in place and there was a safely recruited, established staff team to provide care and support. Staff received training and supervision, and they were happy in their roles. Care plans were in place and still being developed to guide staff how to provide safe, person-centred care, and to help them understand the person’s needs.
Policies and procedures were in place, although these required some amendments to make sure they were fully aligned to the service provision.
The service was led by the provider and the registered manager, who had oversight of the quality of the care delivery. Staff felt supported to do their work and they worked closely with their colleagues to meet the person’s needs.
