At the time of our inspection the agency was supporting 41 people. Medicines were managed safely. Staff were recruited safety and people told us for the most part that staff were on time for care calls. People were protected from harm as staff were knowledgeable about identifying abuse and reporting any concerns. Health and safety checks were carried out regularly to ensure there were no environmental hazards. Care and risk plans were in place they were comprehensive and person centred. Risks to people’s health and well being were mitigated. People were treated with kindness and staff were described as caring. People had access to health care professionals when needed. People’s care plans had their wishes, preferences and likes and dislikes. Staff encouraged people to be as independent as possible. Leaders had a clear oversight of the service. Governance systems were effective and robust. Information was provided in a range of formats. The quality of care was monitored and where shortfalls were identified they were addressed without delay.
