Date of inspection 19 November to 4 December 2025.
We carried out a responsive inspection of Cams Ridge Care Home, partly in response to concerns received about people not receiving safe care and treatment and due to the service not previously being inspected.
This was a comprehensive inspection looking at all the quality statements across safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led key questions.
The provider completed pre-admission assessments to fully understand people’s needs, risks to people were identified and reduced. Care plans were easy to read and contained detailed information to enable staff to support people safely and effectively. Staff knew people well, spent quality time with them and were responsive to their needs. Staff worked hard to make sure they provided person-led care and support, and made sure people’s needs and wishes were known.
The registered manager, senior leadership team and staff were knowledgeable, confident and competent in areas of their role. The culture was inclusive, and everyone worked to achieve positive outcomes for people.
