During an assessment under our new approach
We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 20 June 2025.
We found the practice had met regulations.
Infection control procedures in place were effective.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our inspection, could access care, support and treatment when required.
The practice is in Golders Green, in the London Borough of Barnet, and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There were steps leading into the practice, so it was not wheelchair accessible. Patients were informed of this when contacting the practice and could be signposted to one of their other practices which was accessible to wheelchair users. On-street parking and public transport services were available near the practice.
The practice had 4 treatment rooms.At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 15 staff, of which there were 2 principal dentists, 1 orthodontist, 3 associate dentists 3 dental nurses, 3 dental hygienists, 2 receptionists and the practice manager. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 2 dentists, 1 dental nurse, 2 receptionists, the practice manager and the external compliance consultant.
The service provides cosmetic treatments, some of which are not in scope of CQC regulation and are not covered in our inspection.
