Kindness, compassion and dignity
Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.
Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.
Patient comments included that “the reception team are always friendly”, “a professional but friendly approach”, “the best dental surgery I’ve been to” and “the team are just incredible”.
The practice had mechanisms in place to encourage patients to provide regular feedback about the care and treatment they received.
Staff described a supportive team culture and positive working relationships with leaders who were approachable and responsive to their needs.
