During a routine inspection
We did not speak directly to people who used the service however we noted comments in care records demonstrating they were satisfied with the care and support given to them by the care staff. One person stated in their care plan; 'I like my support staff, they explain what letters say and what I need to do about them'.
People who used the service expressed their satisfaction with the service in their care and support plans and through satisfaction surveys undertaken by the service. One person commented in their care plan: 'I like having my own place and feel I am learning to cope well on my own with the support from my care worker'. Satisfaction surveys were conducted with family members of people who used the service also. The returned surveys for last year (2011) demonstrated overall satisfaction with the service.
