We carried out an unannounced visit to Christopher’s House on 8 April and 18 November 2025. This was in response to concerns we received that suggested people using the service may be at risk of harm. Although 3 children and young people were living at the service, we established a regulated activity was not being delivered. This meant we were unable to complete an assessment. We have therefore made this location dormant on our register and will follow our dormancy monitoring procedures. Prior to and following our visit, we shared information about the service with partner agencies, so they were made aware that we were unable to assess the safety and quality of care provided to the children and young people living at Christopher’s House.
Our inspection team: An inspector and an Operations Manager carried out the visit on 8 April 2025. An inspector and a Senior Specialist carried out the visit on 18 November 2025.
