We carried out this announced, on-site inspection on 3 September 2025.
We found the practice had met all regulations.
Infection control procedures in place were effective.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our inspection, could access care, support and treatment when required.
Damira Penge is part of Damira Dental, a dental group provider. The practice is in Penge, in the London Borough of Bromley. The practice provides NHS and private dental care and treatment to adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice. Car parking spaces were available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, near the practice. The practice is located close to public transport links.
The practice had 4 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 10 staff, of which there were 4 dentists, 2 dental hygienists, 3 dental nurses, of which 1 was a trainee, and a receptionist.
We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 1 dentist, 1 trainee dental nurse, and the receptionist. We also spoke with the group’s area manager and regulatory officer.
