We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 3 March 2026.
We found the practice had not met all regulations.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures did not reflect current legislation.
The practice had not implemented systems to assess, monitor and manage risks to patient and staff safety. In particular, the management of fire safety, equipment and premises.
Didcot Dental Studio is in Didcot and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access and a car park near the practice.
The practice had 4 treatment rooms.
At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 8 staff, of which there were 2 dentists, 4 dental nurses, 1 dental hygiene therapist, 2 receptionists, 2 Treatment Co-ordinators and the practice manager.
We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 1 dentist, 1 dental nurse, 1 receptionist and the practice manager.
The service provides cosmetic treatments, some of which are not in scope of CQC regulation and are not covered in our inspection.
The provider was not complying with 2 regulations, Regulation 17 Good governance and Regulation 19 Fit and proper persons employed.

We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this inspection.
