Date of Assessment: 8 September and 8 October 2025. Quodesh Healthcare Consultancy is a care at home service providing support to adults. At the time of assessment, the service was supporting 4 people. This was the first inspection of this service since registration. We reviewed all quality statements.
The service was in breach of regulations linked to safe care and treatment, and governance.
Medicines were not always managed safely. People’s risks were mainly well managed. There were policies and procedures in place in relation to safeguarding and whistleblowing. Most areas of staff recruitment were safe, however, we found examples of the provider’s own recruitment policy was not being followed.
People were supported by a team of consistent care staff who knew them well and understood their needs. Staff felt supported and had received appropriate training.
We found some aspects of the management of the service had not always been effective. Quality assurance systems in place had either not been effective or were not in place. The registered manager did not always have good oversight of the service. Relatives told us they were satisfied with the care provided and would recommend the service to others.
