All Inspections

19 September 2013

During a routine inspection

People said they have lived in the home for many years and regarded the owner and staff as their family. They said they felt well looked after and were happy in the home. People had their own bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette and bathroom facilities.

People were given sufficient information and support to make decisions about their health and lifestyle. People had the opportunity to give their consent to care and treatment.

We saw that people were offered sufficient healthy and nutritious food. They were able to choose what they ate and times for meals and refreshments were flexible.

We found that people were supported to take their medicines safely and they were reviewed regularly.

People said if they had a concern or there was something they did not like, they would talk to the owner and staff. A person commented, "they look after me well, I have no complaints."
