Our view of the service

Womb With A View Grimsby is an independent provider of private ultrasound scanning and pregnancy screening services for expectant parents. The service operates from a clinic in Grimsby and provides non-diagnostic pregnancy scans, including reassurance, wellbeing and bonding scans. The service also offers non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) and early gender blood testing. The service is led by the registered manager and supported by appropriately trained staff.

The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide the regulated activity of diagnostic and screening procedures.

This was the first assessment of this location.

This assessment looked at whether the service was safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

The inspection found that people received care in a welcoming and person-centred environment. Staff treated people with kindness, compassion and respect, and feedback from people using the service was positive.

Leaders had appropriate systems in place to monitor the quality and safety of the service and were committed to maintaining high standards of care.

The overall rating for this location is good.
