Our view of the service
We assessed Womb With A View Grimsby on 23 June 2026. This was the service's first assessment since registration with the Care Quality Commission. We rated the service as good.
Staff provided care in a welcoming, supportive and person-centred environment. People consistently gave positive feedback about their experiences and told us they felt listened to, informed and reassured during their appointments. Staff treated people with kindness, compassion and respect and responded sensitively when people were anxious or distressed.
The service had appropriate systems in place to support safety, including safeguarding arrangements, referral pathways, infection prevention and control measures, equipment maintenance and incident management processes. Staff were suitably trained, competent and understood their responsibilities.
Leaders had oversight of quality and safety and demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement. Staff spoke positively about the culture of the service and told us they felt supported and able to raise concerns. The service worked effectively with other healthcare providers and community organisations to support continuity of care and access to additional support where needed.
We rated the service overall as good.
People's experience of this service
People using the service consistently described positive experiences of care. They told us staff took time to listen to them, provide reassurance and respond to their individual needs, particularly when they felt anxious. Staff explained the purpose of the scan, what people could expect during their appointment, and any appropriate next steps where concerns were identified. This helped people feel informed and supported when making decisions about using the service.
