Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care
Mr Usamah Islam is responsible for these services.
Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must arrange for a suitably qualified professional to fully review the management of medicines at Moormead Care Home within 28 days of the notice of proposal taking effect.
a. The registered provider must share with the Care Quality Commission the action plan for areas of improvement identified in the medicines management review within seven days of receiving the outcome of the review.
b. The registered provider will then provide the Care Quality Commission with an updated copy of its action plan associated to the medicines management review on the last Wednesday of each month.
The registered provider must provide evidence to the Care Quality Commission of completed competency checks in relation to medicines management for all relevant staff within 28 days of the notice of proposal taking effect.
On the last Wednesday of every month after the notice of proposal takes effect, the registered provider must send to the Care Quality Commission evidence of audits completed in relation to the following areas, along with an action plan to address any shortfalls.
a) Safe delivery of care for people at risk of choking
b) Accidents and incidents
c) All records of care delivery
d) Feedback from people using the service and other key stakeholders
e) The management of risk related to pressure ulcers, nutrition and hydration and dysphagia for all service users.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must not provide Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care in a specialist service to people whose presenting need for care or support is as a direct result of the person’s learning disability and or autism at or from Moormead Care Home.
The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 21 service users at Moormead Care Home.
