Date of assessment: 2 April 2026. Caredo Ltd is a care at home service that provided personal care and support to 4 people living in their own homes. We assessed all quality statements from the key questions of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The service has been rated good.
Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where this is provided, we also consider any wider social care provided.
Relatives described the care as dependable and staff consistently said people were well cared for and safe. Care plans and electronic care records contained detailed information about people’s routines, preferences, and care needs.
The service had processes to make sure all staff were recruited safely and had the necessary checks before starting to work with people.
Staff received regular training and access to relevant training courses were available to ensure staff developed their skills. This helped to improve people’s experiences and reduced the risk of harm. Trained staff managed people’s medicines, and the management team completed spot checks to ensure staff competency.
The provider had governance systems that ensured people received a reliable service. Families praised the continuity of staff supporting them. Staff visited on time, stayed for their allocated time, and carried out all their required tasks to keep people safe.
People's care records and risk assessments reflected people’s needs in their home environment. Quality assurance processes were effective in highlighting issues to ensure improvement continued.
