During a routine inspection
'I have been coming here for a number of years. I feel that I am fully consulted at each visit and that my consent is always obtained before my scan is undertaken.'
'I am always provided with enough information to make a decision about my treatment. I have been asked to sign a consent form when attending appointments.'
'The way I have been treated is excellent. I am fully aware of what scanning procedure I require. The outcome of that scan is explained to me and a report is sent to my doctor. I have no concerns about the service provided.'
Appropriate action had been taken to ensure that equipment used to provide the service was suitable and regularly maintained. The registered provider works independently and is the sole employee providing the service. The provider is a qualified diagnostic radiographer and had taken appropriate action to ensure her professional practice was up to date. A suitable system to monitor the quality of the services provided was being operated.
