During an inspection in response to concerns
'Staff are very helpful, they help me with my medication and bathing.'
'What I like is that nothing is done with too much of a rush.'
'Food is good.'
'Going to the pub tonight.'
'No complaints'
Staff told us the home was a 'nice little home, with good family contact' and 'there could be more activities.'
We observed staff and saw they approached people respectfully when supporting them in their daily routines, conversations and during the serving of the midday meal. People were seen to be relaxed and comfortable and responded positively.
We observed staff interaction with people and saw positive working relationships. People confirmed they were involved in the planning of their care and that they were happy living in the home.
