Kindness, compassion and dignity
Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.
Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.
“All staff are very friendly, but [receptionist] and [receptionist] are exceptional!”
Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.
“The whole experience at the dentist was an excellent one. From the friendly, welcoming staff to the facilities which were clean and quality.”
Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.
“Reception staff are always friendly (but remaining professional), polite and helpful. My dentist is also friendly in a professional way, caring and gives good advice.”
Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.
We were provided with the results of the most recent NHS Friends and Family test (FFT) which covered the period between 1 June and 20 July 2026. During this time, 174 respondents provided feedback. In response to the question, “Overall, how was your experience of our service?', 171 respondents rated their experience as either “very good” or “good”. Examples of feedback received included;
“[Dentist] is very personable.”
“On time, polite, gentle but thoroughly good service.”
“Exceptional customer service and care.”
“[Hygienist was professional, caring and very thorough during my hygienist appointment.”
People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. We observed that treatment room doors were closed during care and treatment.
Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
