Kindness, compassion and dignity
Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.
Patient feedback provided a wholly positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity and showed compassion.
Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.
Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.
Patient online comments and feedback we reviewed provided a wholly positive level of satisfaction with the care and treatment received at the practice. Comments included “Seen on time and dentist got me out of pain quickly,” and “Reception were very happy and accommodating. Booked appointments quickly. Dentist was great.”
People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported. Staff consistently described how they worked well as a team and how their personal development was encouraged.
