Delivering evidence-based care and treatment
The provider planned and delivered people’s care and treatment with them, including what was important and mattered to them. They did this in line with legislation and current evidence-based good practice and standards. Kitchen staff provided people with a good range of home cooked food which met individual dietary requirements. Although staff knew people well and we found no impact, some people’s dietary information needed to be updated. This was going to be addressed immediately, and a white board was to be purchased for the kitchen to enhance the recording of people’s individual dietary needs. People enjoyed the meals provided. One relative who joined their loved one for lunch regularly said, “The food is very good and (relative) has put weight on.”
