Date of assessment: 30 June to 3 July 2026.
Promedica24 Homecare (Blaby and Lutterworth) is a domiciliary care providing personal care to people with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments living in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only inspects where people receive personal care. At the time of the assessment, the service supported 25 people with the regulated activity personal care.
This was the first assessment of the service since they were registered with CQC.
The service had effective systems in place to assess, monitor and improve the quality and safety of care. Managers were visible, approachable and promoted a positive culture focused on achieving good outcomes for people.
Although care plans generally contained relevant information to guide staff, further improvements were needed to ensure records consistently contained detailed information about people's health conditions and the support required to manage them. This was fed back to the provider during the inspection and action was taken to strengthen care planning and oversight arrangements.
Staff felt well supported by managers and described an open and inclusive environment where they could seek advice, raise concerns and contribute to service improvement.
Learning from incidents, feedback and quality assurance processes was used to drive improvements and support the ongoing development of the service.
People's communication needs, preferences and future wishes were recorded and respected. The provider worked effectively with relatives and external professionals to ensure people received coordinated care and support. Staff understood their responsibilities to keep people safe and to report concerns, incidents and changes in people's needs.
We found the provider was receptive to feedback and committed to making improvements to ensure care records accurately reflected people's needs and supported the delivery of consistent care.
