The Arbury is a care home that is registered to provide accommodation and personal care to up to 2 young people. At the time of our visit a child was living at the service and the service was operating as a children’s home requiring registration with Ofsted.

We carried out an unannounced visit to The Arbury on 24 June 2026. This was in line with our inspection priorities. A child was living at the service which meant the service was operating as a children’s home. This meant the service required registration with Ofsted who are the regulator of children’s homes. We were therefore unable to complete an assessment. We have made this location dormant on our register and will consider our regulatory options in response to this.
Following our visit, we shared information about the service with partner agencies, so they were made aware that we were unable to assess the safety and quality of care provided to the child living at The Arbury.
