During an inspection looking at part of the service

Four people were living at Ji-Ra. Two people were attending a day centre at the time of our visit, and we met the two people present in the home. People's needs were such that they were unable to tell us their experiences of the home. We observed that the two people had been supported with personal care, they were warm, and comfortably dressed. During our inspection we saw staff offer people choices of drinks and biscuits, and talk to them in a kind and friendly way. There was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the home.

During an inspection in response to concerns

We were told that the service failed to report incidents that related to the well-being of people using the service. One person told us that they did not like living at Ji-Ra House.
