The assessment was carried out on 3 June 2026.
We carried out this assessment in line with our routine assessment priorities. We assessed 32 quality statements for the five key questions: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
At this assessment we rated the service as good.
The service had a positive learning culture where staff and patients could raise concerns. Incidents were thoroughly investigated, and patients, along with those close to them where appropriate, were involved in assessing their needs.
Staff had the appropriate skills, understood their safeguarding responsibilities, and treated people with kindness, compassion, and dignity. Staff provided personalised care and treatment. Staff ensured patients understood their care so they could give informed consent. Information was provided in a way patients could understand, and they were encouraged to give feedback. Patients knew how to raise concerns and felt confident these would be taken seriously.
Leaders had a clear vision for the service, supported by systems to identify risks to patients and the organisation. The service communicated effectively with staff and stakeholders. Staff wellbeing was supported, and staff described an open, supportive environment where feedback was encouraged. Leaders met regularly with partner organisations to review performance and share updates.
