Date of Assessment: 20 May 2025 to 22 May 2025. The Medic Care Surgery is a GP practice and delivers service to approximately 4248 patients under a contract held with NHS England. The National General Practice Profiles states that the patient demographic is predominately of white ethnicity accounting for 94.9%. Information published by Office for Health Improvement and Disparities shows that deprivation in the practice population group is in the 5th decile of 10. The lower the decile, the more deprived the practice population is relative to others. This assessment considered the demographics of the people using the service, the context the service was working in and how this impacted service delivery. People's experience of the service

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent patient survey results from the National GP Patient Survey 2024 reported above local and national averages for patient satisfaction. 71% of the respondents rated their experience of this practice as good overall. The NHS Friends and Family Test showed people were satisfied with services. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who actively tried to engage people and represented the views of people using the service.
