Our view of the service
We rated the service as good. This is the first assessment for this newly registered service. Staff assessed and mitigated risks. There were enough staff to safely meet the needs of clients. The service offered a range of treatment options which including a helpful selection of groups and activities. Staff were well supported by a team of managers who were striving to continuously improve the service. Clients told us that staff were caring and worked hard to understand and meet their needs.
People's experience of this service
We spoke to 7 clients who use the service. Overall people were positive about the group work that was provided and the support they received from them. They were also positive about the access to online support that was provided on an evening and through the night.
People said they felt understood and particularly by those staff that had their own lived experience. People generally spoke highly of the service they received and said they were clear on their care and next steps.
There was some feedback that groups weren’t always available for clients that were working and that some people wanted to see their keyworker more often.
