During an assessment under our new approach

Date of assessment: 17 July 2025 to 28 July 2025. Radis Community Care (Diamond Court) is a domiciliary care service registered to provide personal care to individuals living in their own homes. This service provides care to people living in their own apartments in an assisted living complex. CQC only inspects where people are receiving the regulated activity of personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. At the time of the inspection, the service supported 35 people with personal care. We gathered information from people who use the service, a relative, the registered manager, a team leader and care staff. Along with senior management. We sought feedback from health and social care professionals, and feedback was provided from 1. This was the first inspection of this service since CQC registration on 24 January 2023. The overall rating for this service was requires improvement. We reviewed all 34 quality statements and found 2 breaches of regulation. This was in the provider’s governance arrangements and people’s care plans. The providers governance arrangements had not identified where some people’s care plans needed information on how to support the person with their diabetes care, catheter care, skin care and any associated risks. The provider’s governance arrangements had also failed to review incidents and accidents to ensure all actions and referrals were made as required. However, the registered manager and staff knew people well. People felt supported by staff who were kind and caring. People were supported by staff to access health care professionals, and additional care and support could be provided to people flexibly if required. People felt able to raise complaints although some people raised with us they were awaiting a response from the registered manager or team leader. We shared this feedback with the registered manager. People’s care plans were person centred and contained important information around people’s individual routines and any medical information including allergies. Where we found improvements were needed, we have asked the provider for an action plan following this inspection.
