During a routine inspection

At our visit the registered person advised there were 11 people using the service.

Three people told us they received the information and support they needed to assist them in determining and agreeing their care and support. All confirmed they were treated with consideration and respect by staff and the registered persons. Telling us they that the registered persons regularly consulted with them about the care and services they received.

One person said, 'I have a service guide that tells me everything I need to know.' 'They always discuss things with me and I have agreed my support plan and arrangements.'

All said they had copies of their service agreement and support plan. With records of the personal care and support they received, kept in their own homes and maintained by staff visiting there. They had also been given written information about the staffing and recruitment arrangements for the service and the role and contact details of relevant outside authorities concerned with their care and protection.

All confirmed they received the care and support they had agreed to, within the allocated time frames and from staff that knew what they were doing. One person told us they found the serviced to be flexible and responsive.

All comments we received from people were positive and included,

'I am happy with the agreed times for my care calls and the support I get,' 'It's what I want and fits with my routines.'

'I have never been looked after so well.' The Queen couldn't get a better service.'

During a routine inspection

Three people we spoke with told us they received the information and support they needed about the service. Examples they gave included, to assist them in determining and agreeing their care and support and the arrangements for their review, how to complain, staffing arrangements and the services' expected standards of staff conduct.

One person said, 'The manager and my care staff met with me and talked everything through and agreed my care plan with me.' 'I have a service guide, with all information, including details of charges made for the service I get.'

Another said, 'I can't believe how quickly and easily it has been sorted.' Everything was clearly explained, what I can expect and what to do if I have any concerns.'

Two people and one relative acting on behalf of someone using the service, told us they received the care and support they had agreed, from competent staff. Comments made by people included,

'Things have run smoothly, they make life easier for me, it's a huge relief.'

'Staff, are very good at supporting me with my mobility when I need it.'

'Staff are really good, communication works well and they are flexible to changes when needed.'

Everyone we spoke with said staff usually arrived on time and listened and acted on what they said. They also said that the partners/manager spoke with them regularly about the care and services they received. That they were provided with their contact details and felt confident in contacting them at any time, that they would be listened to and taken seriously.
