JBS Consult Limited provides care and support to people living in their own homes. Not everyone using JBS Consult Limited received regulated activity; the CQC only inspects the service being received by people provided with ‘personal care’; help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also take into account any wider social care provided.
This assessment was carried out with a site visit to the office location on 29 April 2026.
We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
Safeguarding systems were in place to ensure people were safeguarded from abuse. Risk assessments were in place for identified risks to ensure people received safe care. Systems were in place to recruit staff safely. Staff received mandatory training, which included training on learning disabilities. Pre-assessment systems were in place to ensure people were able to get the support they needed. Systems were in place to ensure staff attended calls on time.
Improvements were required with assessing people’s needs regularly to ensure any changes in people’s circumstances were acted upon. Supervisions were not being carried out regularly to ensure staff were supported at all times. People’s consent were sought before support was provided. People had a positive relationship with staff.
Improvements were required with quality assurance systems to ensure audits were robust and regular. People were supported to express their views. Staff felt supported by the management team.
